Intention:
In this Red Hook loft, the raw bones of Brooklyn's waterfront history serve as a canvas for contemporary living. A restoration of the old factory floors lifted and lighted the apartment, while timber beams throughout the space stand as heralds of the past. The artwork balances the loft’s soaring scale, alongside a gut renovated kitchen and its neighboring addition of a custom millwork-enclosed room.
